What are the indications for use of the MyHand System?

Target patient population: 1. Patients with impairment of hand function due to stroke, traumatic brain injury or spinal cord injury 2. Patients with impairment of hand function from neuromuscular and neurological disorders 3. Patients with impairment from musculoskeletal or other orthopedic conditions 4. Patients with impairment of hand function from motor vehicle accidents, industrial accidents, or other sources of injury. 5. Individuals with general reduction in hand function due to aging

How does the MyHand® System help a patient to achieve the goal they have set?

We have used our deep understanding of neuroplasticity and recovery after stroke or brain injury to create and validate 16 unique hand function protocols. These protocols focus on improving different hand movements and skills needed for activities of daily living (ADL).
The physical features of the MyHand® System, such as height and arm/wrist support, are customized to meet each patient's specific needs and comfort. In addition, suitable feedback systems are incorporated to enhance the user experience.
A clinician using the MyHand® System can assess the user's current hand function using the device and they can choose the appropriate exercise protocol accordingly.
